some people think the truth is big
some people think the truth is small
some people think it's all a lie
(that) there is no truth at all
across a million years or more
it hasn't been so very long
many have claimed they'd found the truth
i think they were all wrong
from everything i've seen in life
in all i've learned and how i've grown
the only truth i think there is
you find out on your own
the truth is such a simple thing
in what you say and what you do
though it gets harder everyday
it all comes down to you
we make mistakes, forgive yourself
each take our turn to play the fool
to live in peace remember this
